Alejandro Maass

Dr. Maass graduated from the Universidad de Chile as a Mathematical Engineer in 1990. He obtained a PhD from the Math. Institute of Luminy, CNRS, France in 1994. He is full Professor at the School of Engineering of Universidad de Chile and also belongs to the Center for Mathematical Modeling, CMM. His research has focused on Ergodic Theory, Topological Dynamics, Symbolic Dynamics and Bioinformatics. At the CGR, he has developed several innovative pipelines and programs for the analysis of complex genomes and has participated with his team in all Center Projects.
