Alvaro Glavic

Alvaro Glavic obtained his degree in Biochemistry from the University of Chile in 1996 and hos PhD from the same University in 2002. He obtained an EMBO long-term postdoctoral fellowship for a stay at the Centro de Biología Molecular “Severo Ochoa” in Madrid, Spain. He is currently an Associate Professor at the Facultad de Ciencias, Universidad de Chile. He is interested in how cells regulate their shapes and sizes, impacting organismal body form and function.
